Way back in 2008, I filed a claim in regard to a class-action lawsuit against DeBeers. DeBeers was accused of manipulating the price of diamonds and agreed to pay-out something like $300 million for 22 years of price fixing. Basically, if you purchased diamonds during this time period you were eligible to receive compensation. If your cumulative diamond purchase was less than $10,000 you were on the honor system. If your purchases were more than $10,000 you had to send in receipts, proof ... Continue reading...

I have a weakness. No, it's not buying Enya records at the local flea market. I love me some chocolate. So, you can imagine my excitement when I learned about Godiva's Reward Program. That's the side your fuel door is on. I really feel like an idiot right about now for not knowing this!

I'm no art expert, but paying $43.8 million for a pair of blue canvases seems just a bit freaking insane high.

In a hushed salesroom at Sotheby’s on Tuesday night, a packed audience watched intently as six bidders fought over Barnett Newman’s “Onement VI,” a deep blue abstract composition from 1953.
